    Two very enjoyable vacations

In late June we stayed at Marriott Fairways at Seaview (near Atlantic City, New Jersey). We had two 2BR bedroom units and had three other families stay with us for full or partial weeks (without exceeding the unit maximums of eight people each). It was a great time -- the families all had kids the same ages as our two boys. The large numbers of adults allowed sets of parents to slip off for romantic dates. Mainly going to the beach and relaxing at the resort.

In late August we stayed at Wyndham Bentley Brook in the Berkshire Mountains of western Massachusetts. Again we got two 2BR units and invited another family with kids close in age to our kids. Activities included driving to the top of Mount Greylock (gorgeous views), hiking, a museum, and Jiminy Mountain Summer Adventure Park.

Only one more timeshare vacation left -- Shearwater in Kaui during the week after Thanksgiving. Just my wife and me! My wife's best friend will be watching the kids.

We were in Williamsburg in May at Powhaten and had a great time. Liked the resort and closeness to everything, although our unit was a little worn, but still quite nice.
Was our first visit to Williamsburg and found way too much to do!! lol
All in all vacation was super.
Went to Florida in February, stayed at Hilton Grand Vacations Club Seaworld, Unit was fantastic, resort great and also close to everything. The resort was very accomodating and helpful, even did a TS Presentation and they were very low key and only took 1.5 hours. Good vacation.
We are going to Ridge Top Village/Summit in Shawnee end of September and to Raintrees Club Regina Puerto Vallarta in November and are hoping for good experiences!!

        So Far So Good

I have only gone to Florida for two weeks at different resorts. However, my expectations were exceeded at DRI's Grand Beach Resort and Marriott's Grand Vista. Both offered more than what I needed.

I will be at Newport Coast at the end of September and Beach Place Towers in December. I will let you know how those turn out.

I forgot to comment about my trip to Oak N Spruce in late June - I had a standard unit (compared to two friends' Presidential units) but it was clean and townhouse style with no upstairs neighbors. This is significant because even in the Presidential buildings, the noise from upstairs neghbors was considerable. I feel the resort should list the Presidential units under a different RCI/II number as only those units could be considered "Silver" level. The staff was friendly, there was lots of kid friendly activities and I really enjoyed the area. I would return knowing what I know.

Just returned from last trip of year

In reverse order we loved every minute of our vacation time this year.
We returned home from Lawrence Welk in Escondido (owners) yesterday after a great week with everything pretty perfect. We had my son and friend with us and visited with my daughter, son n law and grandaughter for most of the week. Welk was wonderful.
New Orlean came a few months ago and that too was great.
Two weeks in Texas (1 wk New Braunfels, 1 wk Mustang Island) was interesting and fun for us California people.
It has been a great year for us for timesharing and I hope it continue at the same level----everywhere we stayed seemed first class with the exception of Mustang Island which was a fun place but the timeshare could have been better kept up.
