  • Can my Sheraton Plat. Week be converted to StarOptions points?

Hey all - does anyone know if my Sheraton week at Broadway Myrtle Beach can be converted to StarOption points? Will Sheraton do this for a reasonable fee? Thanks!

I'm assuming you mean Starpoints, for use in the hotels. You can use the StarOptions your unit is worth at any resort in the Network, usually. Of course, that's any resort you have enough StarOptions to get into :>).
So long as you're in the proper time frame, you are free to convert. My SBMB Plat 2bdrm l/o is worth 33000 starpoints. Not the best use for your MF, though.

"When to Convert Your Week to Starpoints®
Starwood Vacation NetworkSM members can convert their week for Starpoints as frequently as every non-consecutive Use Year. Starwood Starpoint conversion is requested through Owner Services as early as the Use Year prior to the Use Year being converted and no later than March 31 of the Use Year being converted. Starpoints will be credited to the Starwood Preferred Guest account within approximately 72 hours of the conversion request unless conversion is requested prior to October 1 prior to the Use Year being converted, in which instance Starpoints will be credited on Oct 1 prior to the Use Year being converted

A conversion fee of $99 per week converted will be charged at the time you request the conversion of your week to Starpoints. Starwood Vacation Network members must be current in their maintenance fees, taxes, and network dues at the time the Starpoint conversion is requested. When requesting Starpoint conversion of a future Use Year, pre-payment of estimated maintenance fees, taxes and network dues associated with that future Use Year is also required."
