What are the sources of your 2010 timeshare vacation plans? For 2010, I currently have three DAE exchanges, all 2BR, in England, Ireland, and the Canary Islands, and two RCI rentals, both European studios in late Spring and Summer, and both for around $200/week. I guess that is the way it goes these days, DAE for exchanges and RCI for cheap rentals.

I'll be using my Bluegreen points for the lot. Going to The Fountains/Oasis Lakes, Orlando in April, and then Christmas Mountain Village, Wisconsin Dells in August with my brother and his family. We've been to CMV and like it muchly so are looking forward to getting there again, even though it'll be summer and we aren't much for summer vacations.
I picked the Fountains more for the kids but I expect we'll manage to have fun somehow. Not much for Disney but we're going to hit Sea World, and probably the Harry Leu gardens, and I'm very tempted by the Tiffany collection at the Charles Hosmer Morse Museum.
Hubby's third week of vacation is committed to visiting family so only taking two timeshare vacations next year.

Two 1BR (combining to a 2BR) from RCI points (those RCI points are primarily from CMV UDI PFD...I need more TLA (three letter acronyms)).
2 1BR at Club la Pension, in New Orleans using Bluegreen points.
A 2BR in Hilton Head, from RCI points raiding weeks (again, from CMV UDI PFD).
A 2BR at the Grand Mayan Mayan Riviera, exchanging through RCI weeks.
A week in Cornwall, followed by a week in Austria, both through SFX.
I also have booked two (or is it three?) Disney weeks for friends using RCI points."Because there is good, and there is evil, and evil must be punished. Even in the face of Armageddon I shall not compromise in this."-- Rorschach, Watchmen

A long weekend for MLK Day "up north" at Mountain Run in January
Sending wife and kids for a couple nights post-Disney-cruise at Star Island in February
Sending wife to La Belle Maison in May for APA (business)
A week in a 4BR at Powhatan with old friends in late June
A week at Disney's VWL in July.
All are RCI Weeks exchanges except for Star Island. That's an internal Wyndham reservation.

Travel Plans 2009/2010
Haven't been on an airplane since retiring back in 2000. Too much of my business life was spent flying around the country and I have no desire to get a passport and deal with airport check-ins so that I can fly to exotic destinations. Maybe, I will get around to it in 2011.
My better half and I still have much to do this year before spending Christmas with my daughter in Virginia.
We will be checking into a 3-BR Unit at Wyndham Ocean Boulevard, North Myrtle Beach, SC on November 20th for Thanksgiving Week.
Currently I anticipate staying in Myrtle Beach until the Saturday after Thanksgiving and then it's off to Florida until December 19th.
Upon our arrival in Florida we will check into a 2-BR Wyndham Ocean Walk Unit on Sunday November 29th for a week and then we will head south to Cocoa Beach where we will stay at a 2-BR Unit at The Resort @ Cocoa Beach for two weeks before returning to Virginia.
After enjoying a ton of Football games in January and early February we will head back to Florida.
We plan on arriving back in Florida (Cocoa Beach or further South) in late February once we can get a couple of confirmations through RCI. (Yeah I no lot's of luck; but I have had searches in for quite a while and deposits should be flowing into the RCI Vault in late December and early January.)
So far we have a 2-BR Wyndham Ocean Walk Unit reserved for a week beginning March 7 that will dovetail into a 2-BR Week at The Resort @ Cocoa Beach on March 13th.
Altogether we plan on being in Florida from mid-February to mid-March before again returning to Virginia for rest and recuperation!
For the last two weeks of May, 2010 we have reservations at Wyndham Ocean Blvd in a 3-BR unit already confirmed.
After again returning to Virginia for a while we head back to Myrtle Beach for eleven straight nights in a 2-BR Unit on the tenth Floor of Wyndham Westwinds where the view from the balcony is tremendous.
Haven't as yet made plans beyond that; but there is plenty of time left to find somethiing to do!
Dave
