I think this is a bit intrusive. If you are not educated enough to manage your own points then you get what you deserve. Ignorance is bliss. I am not usually a proponent of less government, but in this case please keep the bureaucrats away. This is clearly an issue between the airlines and the consumer. We don't need no stinking 'feds".

These oafs cannot even pass a budget on time which is the only thing that really matters. Instead of headline seeking, just do your $%^&* job!

There are some issues where legislation is needed. One is prohibiting changing the value of miles already earned. Another is scams like charging fuel surcharges (really part of the fare) on award tickets.
