Some of us work over the internet and even if I didn't a book or whatever old movie is on the plane doesn't entertain me for 5+ hours. I always start to fidget over Denver.

You will find, if you fly VX, that they will meet or exceed the expectations that Jet Blue has set for all your criteria. and then some. I would much rather fly into SNA or LGB on my visits to Dad. Those flights are usually much more expensive, not non-stop or the schedule doesn't suit me.

VX makes it worth flying into and out of LAX for me at a rate that doesn't hurt. My last RT on them in Sept was $240 all in.

When we go to Florida, I begin to fidget over Denver, too.

I've done Southwest, Jet Blue and recently Spirit Air.

Spirit was a nice surprise as I used them for a last minute Dominican Republic ticket last month and paid half of what American was asking. Not only that but the plane was only 2/3 full so I was able to move to an empty row all by my lonesome. We actually even left on time which is something American can't seem to accomplish lately for some reason or another.

Nice perk of Spirit Air is that they have a credit card that you get a free flight when you get the card and then you are in their $9 fare club and get first dibs so I'm ditching my Marriot rewards since they are again changing the rules and getting me a Spirit card. Hopefully I'll be a happy flyer with my $9 fares.
