I haven't booked any of their deals but they do seem pretty good if you are able to travel off season. My understanding though is that TravelZoo just compiles them and you actually book through the individual company offering the special.

I never used them, but a former co-worker took a trip to Brazil through them and was very impressed. She was leary when she booked it, but it was such a good deal that she decided to give it a try.

That seems to be the case in Australia too.

I really enjoy getting my weekly email "Travelzoo Australia Weekly Top 20". The cheap fare links go straight to the airline, some accommodation specials link to companies like Expedia (for example) and others go directly to the hotel/resort/tour company.

I've used them. Their newsletter provided great savings for a mini van rental in Florida that ended up being cheaper than the regular size car that I had originally reserved. I think the rental was with Hertz.

I concur that the deals are really good, but was just wondering if when you went to get the deals, that they might be sold out and have a higher price one you could take, if you wanted.
