When are your kids off for Spring break 2011?

NY floats but covers Passover and Easter whenever possible. That would make our springbreak April 16 thru Apr 25, 2011

When is yours and if possible note whether it is a fixed week each year or not. This is another project that I will sticky somewhere.

Minnesota schools and universities break during March. No fixed week state-wide though.

Different school districts in Bay area have different Spring break schedules. Ours is always the third week of April - 4/11-15 for 2011.

Our break is just where you predicted, Lawren. Off the w/o 4/18 and Monday, 4/25. 4/26 is marked as a possible "bonus" if we don't use our two snowdays.

Does anyone know when the NY area private school break is - it usually is the second and third week of march but this year is the third and fourth.

Michigan is county by county. Washtenaw county (Ann Arbor) is the first full week of April each year.

MQ is at Poly Prep in Brooklyn and she's off for two weeks: March 18-April 5. I bet on the week of April 16 because of Passover and Easter being covered and had booked an RCI Exchange into GM Nuevo that week...then the calendar came out.

SFX came thru though and got me one with a 3/18/11 check-in though...woo hoo...guess I will cancel the RCI exchange or take her out of school and go twice!

Jeanne is correct, and welcome to the forum.

My wife is a teacher in a private school, which is often on a different schedule than the MN public schools. She is off (aka when we vacation) March 12 and starts back again March 22. The MN Public Schools do a rolling spring break schedule.

I don't know what it is here in the Temecula Valley, CA. In Wichita Falls, Texas, our son's and grandson's Spring Break is March 13-21. He is a soccer coach at Midwestern State University, and his son is an elementary school student. I don't know if they have different dates in Texas or just one.

We are going to visit them during Spring break.
