My biggest complaint about #1 is the way they change schedules. Now, I realize that if you buy your tickets 6 months out, that there will be a schedule changes, but usually you'll see a few minutes each way. A couple of times we had non-stop flights and they were changed to a 1 stop with a layover. The first time I never realized they changed the flight and there was nothing that could be done...the second time (and last time) I discovered the change in time so I could get another nonstop flight.

They are now last on my list!

I really like Continental though...haven't had many issues with them

I'm surprised #4 isn't one you fly the most, also. Now we know who's complaining and why they top the list.
What I don't understand is how #10 on the Top 10 Most Complained about airlines says it is also still one of the country’s 10 least-complained-about airlines, surely there are more than 19 carriers to compare, no?

These kinds of surveys always leave me cold. Since the most complained about airline has one more passenger complaint per one hundred thousand passengers than than number 10 or 1 more per two hundred thousand passengers than number 5, these stats doesn't mean a whole lot to me.

Airline travel is a lot cheaper than it used to be and the service has gone downhill just about everywhere because of that (notable exception, Singapore Airlines). Pick your flights based on cost, destinations or whatever is important to you and hope for the best.

          Cheers
