Do you know anything about The HollyTree Resort in West Falmouth? It looks nice but not on the beach...

Maybe I need to look to Virginia, Maryland and other beachs too!!!

Anyone out their have suggestions for other northern beach towns to buy a timeshare???
I've only driven past the Holly Tree. It looks OK, but have never stayed there.
The Holly Tree is in South Yarmouth, not West Falmouth. Most of the timeshares in Falmouth are affiliated with Interval, not RCI.

I think you will find that finding a free or cheap buy on the beach in summer will be very difficult. Even maryland and Virginia with their longer season will be a difficult find.

Go to the RCI or II website and look at the resorts available in the directory and then Google the resort name to see what is for sale through various venues.

As for northen beach towns, you can't go wrong with Provincetown. There is only one timeshare on the beach. A summer studio will cost in the $6000 range if bought from a broker or the resort. You may be able to find something cheaper from a private owner. Most of the Cape Cod resorts are actually inland. Pier 7 is on an estuary; some of the Falmouth resorts are aacross the street from the beach but the majority tradde with Interval.

Good luck to you; don't jump at the first "deal." Do your research; don't get stuck with what you think is a good deal to regret it later when you find usage is at a time that's not nice and the trading won't get you where you want to go.

We just bought at The Club at Cape Cod - just 2 blocks from Edgewater and part of the VRIety group. They are on the beach - although the beach in Dennisport is small. Dennisport is a fantastic jumping off spot for exploring the cape.

We just spent our first week there. Although the accomodations tend to be small - the location is unbeatable

This sounds good. Great advice. I will continue to look. So many timeshare options. Being new I had NO idea there were so many timeshares in the US...I am going to be patient on purchasing. The right place will come....

        Thank you again

        Cape Cod sounds gorgeous too!!!
