Hi,
I travel to maui at the last minute from LA, I use airtech. it costs $199 each way incl tax but the catch is you can only book 14 days in advance or less..the tickets tend to get cheapest within 7 days that is the fare i buy at the 199 dollar price point, 14 days in advance costs $235 one way and weekends in both cases is $20 addl, i think they have a website but it is better to call as they dont have any real time booking they are based in NYC and number is 212 219 7000 x2 or x1 i usually work with a guy named steve..and according to steve they have been in biz for 20 years..
they fly from San Francisco and Los Angeles to Maui and Honolulu and in the spring and summer they add on Kona and Lihue, they are not recommended for honeymooners or those on super tight schedules as they cant guarantee date of travel till you are within 1-14 days but if you have a little flexibility and you did not book a cheaper ticket in advance airtech is a great and cheap option
