      my point was to Tell Them you're using cash; pay however you want. Scammers may disconnect immediately since they will not be delivering a pizza.

        Our CC mentality has allowed these scams to grow. I used my FF credit card at a car rental in Baja last winter. The next bill had airline ticket purchases on it to the tune of $2000. BofA took the charges off and issued me a new card. Since I use my card for autopayments for utilities, it was a hassle. Now I never use my card to actually pay when on a trip. I may reserve hotels & cars (because it is required) but I pay cash.

          Sad to say that I'm staying in a Presidential unit in Bonnet Creek and when I got home from dinner there was a nice fresh pizza flyer with no address waiting for me in the foyer. So much for exclusivity.
