It used to be easy but now they figured out that if they get you they know you will pay dearly for your release

        As did I.

The key is to not open your wallet so they can see everything . . . cuz all of it is the right amount.

Most US states are now cooperating with each other on traffic records, so very likely, it will. The last time I got a ticket it was in Prague on a NC license, and that one did not come back.

In the country is which I work, I can legally get a local drivers license and I will at some point get around to doing that. Driving licenses here are lifetime, so you don't ever have to renew it. If I ever get pulled for anything when I am back in the states, I can just show that one and the ticket will probably never make it to North Carolina.

Whether it will follow you or not depends on the state your are in and the one you are from and if they have reciprocity or not. Not as many as your might think do.
I, unfortunately, got a ticket in Virginia this summer, in one of those "here it's 55 then 30 then 55 5then 30" places. It was just a mail in, no reciprocity with NY and therefore no points.
I agree best practice is don't do it.. It's a lot cheaper... tickets are really expensive now with all the added on fees etc.

Even if they do not follow you and you figure on not paying, YOU better pray you never get pulled over in that state again, The fines will be so bad that they will lock you up. MY BIL took a chance he got 2 parking ticketsin CA because he argued with a cop in the rain, The cop had it in for him and wrote him up for 2 that he did not pay so now the kids want to go back to Cali and guess who can not drive there. Those fines have to be about $500 each by now.

Similarly, it's a good practice not to call old girlfriends.
