  • Xl Airways France?

Just booked air for this summer on this airline. The website doesn't even have an english language option. www.xl.com I guess I should ask at Flyertalk but they intimidate me. I've done a search but can find very little information.

Wondering what to expect from this airline on my non-stops from JFK to CDG. Anyone?

I did a Google search and when the website came up, right underneath the web address is a link that says - "translate this page" - when I clicked on it I go the site in English.

    Google Translate

I know nothing about this airline but the planes seem to have wings

You didn't need to tell me about the extra $25. OK it's a plane. It has wings and it's going where I want to go, when I want to go there. I'm done worrying about it until time to pack my bags and worry about weight/baggage allowances because I can't find that information anywhere.

Maybe they will spoil us rotten with french food and champagne.

You have access to washer/dryer at both your locations so feel free to pack light.

Perfect. See I knew this was going to be an easy trip since my scout went out first to scope the lay of the land.

Given the record of trans-Atlantic LCC's going belly up when oil prices go up, I would be careful booking one if your flight is too far in advance, so your credit card purchase protection would not apply. Or I would book one of the better established of such LCC's.

Oh this cheapo air stuff sounds like a flight I took one time to the DR.
My brother booked me on a free flight and I flew with a plane full of
chickens. Got to sit in the cockpit and was greeted by machine gun
toting military police when I didn't show on the manifest.

Since then I only fly AA.

That sounds like a trip and a half.
