School vacation this week so we took our 5YO DD to the Cape Codder Resort in Hyannis, MA for 2 nights based on a recommondation from a friend. This was very last minute - booked on the computer at 11:00am and then left the house. We left after only one night - no particular reason other than been there, done that...no need to spend the money on the second night.
Anyway, my mother asked how her getaway was - she said "ok, but the room was YUCKY...only a tiny bathroom and a bed. No stove, no couch, it didn't even have a dryer to dry our wet bathing suits......we're not going back"
She's right - WOW what you become used to. Even tonight I am looking at II exchanges and cringe as soon as I see that flowered poly quilt on the beds in some of the pics!
Can't wait until she describes the cabin on the Disney Cruise that we will be going on soon. Hopefully it won't set the tone for the trip!!!!

They learn quickly don't they? The usual reaction is "Where is the kitchen"? As if the poor things are going to starve.
