I HATE buying airfare It is the worse part of planning all our wonderful vacations. I find it stressful to be guessing if the the fare is fair. I don't feel I have to pay the lowest price but I sure want to be on that end of the scale. I don't have the temperment to wait until just a few weeks before flight time to buy. I like to KNOW I am going and start buying all the other stuff needed for the trip - like site seeing deals, etc. And some stuff you have to buy ahead of time or seriously risk getting closed out, especially when we tend to travel (high seasons).

I use most of the airfare tracking sites and probably have done at least ok on prices. One site eludes my understanding though. How do I read/intreprete the historical graph data on FareCompare??
