I just saved $1000 on rental car

Ok maybe you guys know this trick.. but its a new one to me. We are headed to Sedona later this week and then on to Vegas and the car rental costs were killing me! $1500+

Well after alittle investigating on all the taxes etc... its mostly airport concessions.. so I booked a rental car 10 miles off site of the airport. And saved a bundle.. $523 for my 10 days now!! Granted I will have to hop a taxi but I can't imagine that will be more than $50 bucks-- Feeling good to have saved a bundle!

I know the feeling...and yes, you are correct-the airport fees are often what makes the cost so high. Is that with the drop off fee? (Were you the one who needed that?)

FYI-I have learned that Budget does not necessarily have drop off fees.
