tix are currently on sale through Sept 4th.
I will be looking for October tix, though current schedules look like only 1 nonstop a day from NYC into Oakland and not a great deal?
At any rate, I don't check that often so please let me know if you hear they are extending the window. I used to get notified but haven't been for a while.

You might want to set up a fare price alert from several websites. One that I use often is Kayak. You can also use FareCompare, Orbitz, etc.

I get notifications from Jet Blue, so I'll let you know if I get one. I agree, check Virgin. I flew into LA on Virgin, got a great price.

Virgin goes to SFO at $550 pp non-stop. I'd prefer the Oakland airport but if we won't do better I'd consider this I guess. What do you think?

I thought that they flew into Palm Springs. I've taken Jet blue to Oakland in the past, and would prefer that to flying into SF.
