  • which resort is nicer?? should I move??

Hi . We have been offered to stay at the Oasis 4852 at the Fountains (bluegreen resorts) instead of The Sheraton Vistana V450 due to some renovations. I know some of the units at the Oasis are older and there could be renos going on there as well. Thanks

Who is offering you to move. IMO I would stay at the Visina but if this is the exchange company making the offer they should be able to do better than that.

      which resort is nicer

thank you for your reply. I requested a change (RCI) as we were just notified our pool area at the resort was closed. Our holiday is in just a few weeks, so I was quite disappointed. The supervisor came up with this resort as they stressed pickings were slim at this time. We would like a pool, kid friendly , nice accommodations and in fairly close proximity to universal. thanks

Actually, the Oasis at Fountains is quite nice - read this thread.
I do not think you will be disappointed.
It also has an indoor/outdoor pool which many like.

When I look on the BG website it doesn't differentiate the two. Is it the same place? Do they share the amenities? Do they really have an indoor pool for winter? Is one section nicer than the other? The rooms look really, really nice on the website. Are those just the Presidential units or do the regular rooms really look that nice?

I'm debating on staying at Oasis Lakes for my December Disney trip and having an indoor pool option would be nice since I'm no polar bear.

Any opinions from anyone who has stayed there recently? Thanks.

We like Sheraton Vistana better and there are so many pools, I can't imagine one being closed being a major problem. If you plan to spend time at Disney World, Vistana is much closer.
