AA has announced that as of Feb.1, free beer and wine are back on international flights to Europe and Asia.

They really should. I paid $7 for a tiny bottle of wine.
Honestly I felt it should be free. Glad they're bringing this back.
I guess going bankrupt may bring back some of the perks.

Free alcohol in coach was SOP for overseas flights up until a few years ago. Some airlines still do it; glad to see AA is getting back to it.

I'm amazed--pleased, but amazed. We've been making transAtlantic flights for quite a few years, but alcohol was always on our dime. We're on a TransAtlantic this spring.....whoohoo!
