Since you are single, I would look at a cruise. The ratio of singles on many of the cruise lines is heavy tilted toward women, so your odds as a single guy ought to be outstanding. When I was in my late 20s and single, I used to love Nassau for the same reason, the great ratio, but then the Love Boat TV show changed things and from that time the single women mostly did cruises not land packages.

I would also take a look at Club Med, another place I enjoyed as a single in your age group. Avoid the ones with mini-clubs or baby clubs.

You can also purchase alcohol packages. I recently bought a wine package on a Royal Caribbean cruise (can't say I'd recommend it though, the wines were expensive for poor/mediocre quality). Several people took Rum Runners (BYO alcohol), you can find out more on Cruise Critic if they interest you.

I suggest Mexico. When our youngest son was still single at 29, Puerto Vallarta became his favorite vacation destination. We all love Puerto Vallarta for a family Thanksgiving vacation and will have a big group joining us there this year (friends have asked how they can go on our family vacation). Some of the folks are single, but most are married with kids (ages 5-14). Our family likes it because food and drinks are quite reasonable. The biggest cost is getting there and several save FF miles for a couple of years to get to PVR free. Since all of our timeshares are in Mexico, I book extra units and everyone pays their share of the maintenance fees. We should have 17 this year (three 2-bedroom units and one 1-bedroom unit).

With cruise or All-inclusive, be very sure you know your real cost. many times, you are charged the second person's rate also when you travel alone.

RCI fine print is not enough, IMO, call or email to be very sure you will be charged as One Adult.

Cruises, very few have single rates. Take a buddy or suck up another 50-100 of the cabin fare.

I also think it probably doesn' tmatter where you go - there will be singles everywhere. I personally would plan it around what I want to do (aside from drink, lol) - adventure, flop around and do nothing, sight-see, ...

            How About Florida or Mexico?

I'd recommend somewhere warm and a nice beach, especially for a single guy. If you live more towards the west coast, I'd second the Mexico recommendations. If you live more towards the east coast though, I think the Florida Keys would be a good affordable option.

Stateside I like New Orleans. Cruise and all-inclusive like a lot of what others say may charge for maximum occupancy of the cabin/room.

End of Nov is a tad cold for Montreal. That is something you can drive to in about 8 hrs, saving flight cost.

Sun destination the big variable is flight cost so check some of those before creating a short list.
Traveling Broadens the mind and I want to do more French Quarter Fest in New Orleans is my favourite festival

I agree that New Orleans would be a good destination for a single guy who likes to drink a lot. It's unlikely to be very family oriented, even at Thanksgiving, and the weather would most likely be nice.

South Beach is another suggestion, but Nawlins will get you the same fun for less, with some interesting culture and friendlier locals (no offense meant to our dear Miami members).

I'd also suggest N.O., having had a three day bachelor party there!

If you want to go to Mexico, there are probably some SFX Grand Mayan studio bonus weeks kicking around..
