Rental Car Weekly Rate?

To get the weekly rental rate, how long after the sixth day in complete do you need to have the car before you can turn it in and still keep the stated rate? Most of the time a weekly rate is cheaper than a 6 day rental.

We have 13 days in AZ and am looking at ways to get 2 weeks rental.

I have found if you keep it 5 days it will count as a week. Each company may be different.

My experience has always been that you could get the weekly rate for 5-7 days.
