What concerns me is the possable shut down of some of the east coast refineries on the east coast. Gas prices here will sky rocket.

What concerns me is the possable shut down of some of the east coast refineries on the east coast. Gas prices here will sky rocket.

It wasn't clear to me from the article -- are these permanent shut downs or seasonal shut downs? I know spring is a common time for refineries to go off-line for maintenance, etc. If permanent, it is indeed scary what affect this may have on east coast fuel supplies.
