AA now comping elite status from UA - free

For years, to move your elite status from another airline to AA meant paying cash to do a ''challenge'', something I completed a couple of months ago from CO/UA. Now, however, AA is poaching the new UA's many unhappy elites after the negatives changes to the UA program, and is comping status free, with no challenge required or payment for the challenge, just proof that you have elite status on UA.
