Interesting......It would sure be nice to have some lower fares to Europe. This summer, the fares were outrageous!

Imagine a NYC bus seat. Hard plastic. No recline. Very tight room. Fine for short hops but I can't even imagine a trans-atlantic on that.

I remember a few years back Ryan tried entry and was going to provide service from Islip. So we shall see.

So, maybe they have plans to upgrade their planes, or something? I can hope.

I would expect that they would use the existing Aer Lingus long haul metal for their TATL flights, at least to begin with.

The competition they would offer on fares would likely bring the fares of other carriers down, so whether you fly them or someone else, the fact that they are there should help.

the part about no recline and tight space is correct, but I have never been on a Ryan flight where the seat was hard plastic.

What is the most interesting fact is that it is now the largest and most profitable airliine in Europe by far.
Cannot be that bad .
I use them quite a lot ...but mainly for short journeys of a couple of hours . A different model would have to apply for long haul .
Aer Lingus are already interlined with Jet Blue , I think .

( oh and the cost ....the dollar/euro rate has never been better for US travellers )

I flew then once many years ago. The lack of organisation needs to be better than a free for all with no supervision that cares.
