I was booked on the Disney cruise leaving from LA in October - 14 days round trip - life got in the way so had to cancel (sad face)
BUT - DH and I REALLY enjoy the days on the Disney Cruise Ship - I did a 12 day Australia/New Zealand Cruise with 5-6 sea days (because of weather conditions)and they did not have the variety of activities that Disney did.

Not everyone likes the sea days - this is REALLY important as Fern said, if u leave from LA with 9-10 sea days.

Normally I enjoy the sea days but that is in the Caribbean. After doing the poseiden adventure cruise to Nova Scotia , I have decided that the only place I am doing "at sea" days is in the Caribbean. I'm afraid that with that long distance, the chances of very rough weather in the off season would make the trip unbearable and then we're "stuck like Chuck" out there OD'ing on Dramamine. Can't be too bad cruising around the Hawaiian islands close to shore unless the Captain does a Costa Giglio gig. My luck it just might happen.
