  • Brewstrer Green and Newport, RI

I have a trip planned for next year. First week at Brewster Green (Cape Cod) and the second week at the Wyndham Long Wharf in Newport, Rhode Island.

I am trying to decide which airport to use. I want to use Southwest Airlines. Options would be Boston Logan, Providence, or Hartford.

Assuming costs, etc. are equal, which airport would be easiest? Thanks.

Providence is much easier access than Boston. Since you will be coming to Cape Cod and leaving from Newport PVD is the best choice hands down. Logan is on the north east side of Boston and a killer drive to Brewster Green. I am not saying that PVDS is closer; it isn't, but the drive is easier in my opinion. Car rental is also more expensive in Boston than in Providence.

Is TF Green the one near Providence?
That would make the most sense and is an easier drive...

Thanks ladies. I was thinking maybe Providence would be easier choice.

Not sure where you are flying from but when I checked for potential flight from canada, Providence came up more than 50% higher. But if costs are similar, Providence is less driving.
