Having been going to SW FL since the 1970's, I have noticed in recent years an influx of folks from the NE, as opposed to the Midwest. Folks from the NE used to move to SE FL, like the Seinfelds.

Also, for Lee County and Charlotte County, you can really see the boom years (primarily 2005, 2006 and 2007) and what happened when the bubble burst.
