    Border Crossing

The Peace Bridge was officially dedicated on August 7, 1927

The Peace Bridge is located near the center of downtown Buffalo, New York, and Fort Erie, Ontario, where it crosses the Niagara River. The Peace Bridge is one of four vehicular toll crossings over the Niagara River in the region. The other three crossings are the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge, the Whirlpool Rapids Bridge and the Rainbow Bridge, which are owned and operated by the Niagara Falls Bridge Commission and are located roughly 20 highway miles north of the Peace Bridge.

    Bridge In Light

In 2009, the Peace Bridge underwent an expansive renovation of its lighting capabilities, replacing traditional fixtures with innovative Light Emitting Diode (LED) units.

This new state-of-the-art LED system is controlled by sophisticated computer software that possesses unlimited color options, timings and themes, allowing the Peace Bridge to offer unique and captivating lighting shows at the push of a button. Time 9:00 PM until 1:00 AM

The Peace Bridge is the only Border Crossing with EZ-Pass

I use my passport card when traveling by car to Canada. It is the size of a credit card and I carry it in my wallet. A passport is always acceptable but I prefer to use it only when necessary. I am not in the transport business and thus not eligible to get a fast card but you may be. Nexus will work great if you want to go through the trouble of getting it. Sorry but I have no idea what permanent residents have to do.
