Been to Sedona many times. If you want to see rocks, I suggest going to Utah.

Really? Prettier than Sedona?

I've only been to Park City & Salt Lake City so I didn't find any exciting rocks there.

A sad reflection of our culture, and I use the term loosely!!!

Because you're assuming that people in the U.S. dominate Trip Advisor? I have no idea about Trip Advisor overall, but readers of my reviews there have always been predominately people from the U.K. (44% U.K. to 33% U.S., last time they updated me).

Or because we don't have much culture to offer? Most of this list is ancient buildings, and our ancient buildings are either long gone (mound builders) or really tough to get to with a lot of walking and climbing (cliff dwellings). In contrast, you can take a bus to Petra, a taxi to Machu Picchu, etc. We are admittedly short on that kind of culture.

Still, going on the trip reports I've read for the other places, Bellagio Fountains doesn't seem like such a stretch. Especially if they also hit the Conservatory there and there's somebody appealing at the art museum (Monet rather than Andy Warhol), I think people who'd choose the other stuff on this list would remember that experience fondly, and the fountains would be the most memorable part.

Scenic Highway 12 Utah. http://www.utah.com/byways/highway_12.htm

These are all located in SW Utah and are very spectacular.

We did a nice 2 week loop trip that included all of the above plus other locations.
