I am surprised that the Bellagio Fountains in Las Vegas was the number 1 choice in the United States. I have seen the Bellagio Fountains many times and do enjoy watching them. We always get a room at Caesar's overlooking the fountains though you really need to be right next to them to really appreciate them. However I didn't think they would be the first choice for the US.

I don't believe it reflects badly on our culture at all. It is actually quite an awesome attraction with the fountain shows accompanied with classical music. There is no right or wrong on what attractions appeal to people. To suggest otherwise suggest snobbiness.

I am just surprised that it is number 1 though considering the number of visitors to Las Vegas I guess it really isn't too surprising.

They list Machu Picchu as #1 attraction. I never been to Peru, but when I asked my Peruvian friend if it is worthy to visit Machu Picchu, and he told me: If you would like to see one rock sitting on top of another rock sitting on top of another rock, then yes, it is very exciting.

This list is very subjective, all I am saying.

They list Machu Picchu as #1 attraction. I never been to Peru, but when I asked my Peruvian friend if it is worthy to visit Machu Picchu, and he told me: If you would like to see one rock sitting on top of another rock sitting on top of another rock, then yes, it is very exciting.

This list is very subjective, all I am saying.

We've got beautiful rocks here in Sedona.
Now those are rocks worth putting on this stupid list that is missing Disney.

I've made it to 11 on the list. The top 4 are on my bucket list. I really don't get the Bellagio fountains being on there. I guess I'm snobbish.

We've got beautiful rocks here in Sedona.
Now those are rocks worth putting on this stupid list that is missing Disney.

Been to Sedona many times. If you want to see rocks, I suggest going to Utah.

I guess many of us take for granted the treasures in our own back-yard. Calling Machu Picchu a pile of rocks is like calling the Taj Mahal a building.
