Is there a list, or route to follow? How long were they at the various places? Not a very helpful map.
Trip West (in my signature) will at least give a step-by-step idea of a 13000 mile trip in 63 days and that log doesn't come close to touching all areas of their map.
What all was left out? How about FL landmarks and shores? AZ and UT landmarks? Smokys and Rockys? Did they cross the mountains of CA, OR, or WA? Did they see wheat fields of WA? How about all the coasts of Great Lakes? All of the special lands set aside as National Parks? The Ozarks? All I see is a map all marked up with little guidance.Robert

I goggled this and find that it is a take off from Brian DeFrees photography trip(s). Take a look at his work. It may be viewed on his DeFrees Productions web site.
Read more at http://www.snopes.com/travel/trap/la...4ov4X2xUSBk.99
It would appear without full information, I may have spoken too soon. Investigating DeFrees Productions a bit, I find he did hit several top places. I believe the title and map is misleading.Last edited by RESORT2ME; 02-05-2014, 11:14 PM.Robert

And I was so excited to find that Snopes page, because I remember my dad showing me a cross country video similar to that one years and years ago. However, the website says, "In August of 2011, Brian DeFrees set out on a 2 month journey with a mission to become the first to capture the American cross-country roadtrip in a drivelapse video." I'm dead cert Dad showed me that video waaaaay longer ago than that.
Still the same kinda cool, though.
