I visited it few years ago, and absolutely loved it and would love to go back.
This country is relatively unknown to westerners. There is a variety of climates there, ranging from subtropical to the high mountain. They have their own wine country in the east, Black sea shore on the west, and totally wild and rural area in the north west called Swaneti. They have their own unique and distinctive cuisine, actually it is very different in different parts of the country. And people there are extremely friendly and hospitable.

This isn't a timeshare destination, because there are none there. Stay is very cheap there, and your money will be much better spent renting a car.

And if you have several weeks, you can combine it with Turkey.
