The Italian doesn't have to be in Brooklyn but thought if we were going there anyway it would be nice to have dinner somewhere. We also want to go to Little Italy, Greenwich Village, Chinatown and see more of Central Park than we did last time because we ran out of time (and energy)! I know it's hard to eat Chinese with just two people but we may try.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.
BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.
You're right, there are lots of choices. Lol....I've been to the 4 that I recommended, and think they each have great pizza. They do vary in the type of pizza that they offer. Take a look at the menus, and see if you find any of them appealing.
There is great Pizza ALL over NYC - certainly within walking distance of the Hilton Club.
But you are located RIGHT on the street where the REAL Halal Guys are located…ya gotta try this!
And you and DH can split a platter! http://53rdand6th.com

Yes Pat I did read about Halah Guys but didn't realize it was that close to the Hilton. Maybe that would be a good choice when we get in the first night. Could take it to the room to eat.
Just an FYI, there are no refrigerators or coffee makers in the room.
The only way to get a refrigerator is to request one for 'medical reasons' - to store medication.
Sorry Lynn. Reading quickly through the thread, I thought you were looking for Bklyn locations. Lol. Of course you don't need to go to Bklyn for good pizza. At any rate, enjoy your trip, and your pizza.

When we stayed at the Hilton Vacation Club ( 6th Avenue ) we ate the Halal several times. They were on the corner of 54th and 6th. We could see them from our room. There is a lineup for them all day and night. It is delicious and you can't beat the prices. It was $6.00 for a plate that was enough for both of us.
We have stayed at the Manhattan Club, HGVC 57th St., and Hilton Vacation Club ( 6th Avenue ). The Hilton Vacation Club is our favorite by far. They had free breakfast every morning and free drinks and food in the afternoon.
I strongly recommend Uncle Jack's Steakhouse which is just a couple blocks from the Hilton on 56th street.

Actually I was asking about Brooklyn only because we wanted to go there one day and thought about staying for dinner. Would like somewhere close to the bridge and a subway station where it would be easy to get back downtown.
To get to Williamsburg, you can take the L train, and get off at Bedford Ave & No 7 th street...You will be in the heart of Williamsburg, and in walking distance to everything. Very fast train ride from NYC. You will be by the Williamsburg Bridge. Williamsburg is a real fun town to visit, for a few hours, imo, if you have some spare time. Lots of cafes, and interesting vintage stores, etc.
If you're looking to go to the Brooklyn Bridge, that is a different area altogether.
edited to add:
I found this on Trip Advisor, and thought it might be helpful, if you're interested in walking across the Brooklyn Bridge:
