I would appreciate a heads up, if you see one in RCI. I am trying to find a unit large enough to accommodate 6 adults, two children and an infant sometimes late half of January beginning of Feb, near enough to Disney and with pools an activities within walking distance of unit so that small children and disabled relative can walk to these areas. Have an ongoing search on for three bedroom, but listed resorts by ID rather than leaving wide open. Hesitated to take the original Westgate which is available, but bad reviews. Right now, we don't want to have to make the drive from Davenport, or Reunion, or other very far out places.

Legacy resorts has a 3 bedroom in Lake Buena vista.
I haven't personally stayed there but it's pretty easy to get with an exchange.
Has a good location near Parc Soleil, Crossroads Mall and Downtown Disney.

looking at some of the configurations, some three bedrooms actually have a bedroom with a king, a bedroom with two twins, and a bedroom(?) with a sofa bed, so that would not work. the kids can squeeze in with their parents, but not on a sofa bed. the legacy 8616 sleeps ten and would be great.
i have put in for Houses at Summer Bay, but not much chance I think.
My daughter will deliver baby Dec 8 by C section, so obviously that infant is not going to need a bed, when Jacob, who will be three Dec 6 was born, they all flew out for Christmas and stayed with me for two months, so i know she can fly with baby, Jacob carries a Mickey Mouse doll everywhere so he and TJ are really excited. Daughter's in laws want to come too, and they are a tremendous help with the children, and the cooking and cleaning, so glad to have them, and they are quite a bit younger than us so have more energy, plus they never get a vacation.
question about Orange Lake, reading an old review someone complained about a fee of ten dollars a day per person to use the amenities, and that is steep. is this true for all sections?

My niece and nephew stayed there and that's what they had in their room.
Why they did that in those rooms makes no sense to me.

We've used timeshares for our extended family of 9, but the last couple of times we all went together, just rented a house. I've used VRBO, but both of these times I used rental agents that specialized in that area. When we used timeshares, we had 2 units, either lock-outs or side by side.
Our reasoning for renting one large unit was there was seating around table, in living room etc. for everyone. There was sufficient pots and pans, plates, silver ware in one unit instead of having to bring back and forth from one unit to another.
Check out VRBO to see what is available and the price near Disney.
