Has anyone flown Avianca? NYC to Aruba
Was looking at holiday time airfare NYC to Aruba and by far the most reasonable was Avianca.

Should I be concerned that the stopover is in Bogata Columbia?
Obviously we are not leaving the airport but just changing planes.

Anyone done this???

Pat, try Southwest. We got tickets from Islip with a layover in Orlando for $450 r/t. The tickets went up quickly, though. I got them on the first day the schedule was extended. But this was for President's week.

Monday travel was at $159, Saturday was $350-440….I will keep this in mind for a fall trip I am making.
