I have an upcoming trip to Bonaire. One of those islands that cost a small fortune to get to from NYC. I booked the return leg with FF non-stop to and the outgoing had 2 stops which I paid for.
I got a schedule change on the return and think to myself. Call, maybe they will rebook and not whack me with $280 worth of flight differential and voluntary cancellation fees. It's United though. Well they can only say no right?
I got a fabulous agent who rebooked me to non-stop outgoing EWR, extra leg room seat for the cost of the flight differential. $78.
Awesome. Now I have to go find someone so I can pay this forward in some way.
