The Daily Telegraph of London looks at the countries off the beaten path and says anyone who is well traveled should have been to at least one of them:

Liecntenstein
Armenia
Georgia
Botswana

How many here have been to the countries on the list?

Only one - Botswana, went to Chobe National Park on a day trip from Zimbabwe this month. Truly amazing!

I haven't been to ANY of them. In fact, I haven't even been to Georgia in my own country!

We have made it to Belize on a cruise port stop. It was a bit different than other ports. Not quite as touristy, more laid back. Took a tour of the area.

Belize is it for me. Seemed kind of flat. Not much different than the Rivera Maya regarding Belize City, imo. Excellent scuba and fly fishing. I have only traveled in North America and Hawaiian Islands and because of flight times Im good with this.

You'd think they'd at least have one of these great Pacific Islands like Nauru, Saipan, Tinian, Truk, Palau, Ponape, Kosrae, Kapingamarangi, Kwajalein, Cook Islands .....

No interest in any of them. I am still trying to push myself to set up a trip to Italy. (only been to Scotland and no where else in Europe).

Keep procrastinating and end up going out West instead. Now I have South Dakota and Utah on my list. Even then, only fly somewhere every few years. Keep going back to our Northeast timeshares every year.

I was sorta surprised that a few other places I had been - Kosovo, Bosnia, and Transnistria were not on the list, but the last one is an unrecognized secessionist regime, so maybe it does not count.
