  • plane first???

We need a vacation despertly-- my question is has anyone searched for good plane prices first and then tried to find a timeshare to match it?? we are thinking Europe or maybe Mexico... Can this work??? and where would be the best place to find airfares for out of the country travel

I do that quite often for trips to Europe in shoulder or off season, but not when I am using timeshare.

We've made this judgment about Bermuda. We cruised there, but have never flown there due to the high airfare. Jetblue's new routes to Bermuda may change that in the future.

Usually when we are doing timeshares, we always reserve them first. If we are doing hotels, then we book the airfare first. Sometimes we will do the airfare first, then book a hotel and start a timeshare search, if we find a timeshare, then we will cancel the hotel. Alot will depend on location. If we are going to Orlando, usually we can always find a timeshare (we belong to RCI, II and SFX) and do it either way.

I wasn't going to actually book the plane I was going to choose my vacation destination by where there were flight deals!! Then book the timeshare then go back to the airline.... crossing my fingers the whole time that the price didn't jump!

I booked my flight to Mexico both this year and last year before I had all my weeks booked. However, it was a time that I was sure I would get it and did.
