  • Ways you can stay in a TS

There was a thread about wanting to visit and stay in a TS someone was thinking about buying. So I thought I'd post several different ways you can try out a TS before buying.
    1. Take a promo tour were the developer lets use use a unit. (remember you must go to the 2 hr developer tour, but you don't have to buy)
    2. Rent a unit from a owner for the week
    3. Rent a unit at that TS from the exchange company ie II getaway or RCI last minute exchange ect This works very well if you want to travel during the slower times of the year.
    4. Exchange into the TS
    5. Other ways?

Please explain how this works for II. I would be interested in a 2BDR during the summer school off months. I know this is not a slow time of the year, but what can I expect?

Find out where the model unit is, hide in the closet, then let all your friends in after all the tours are done.

II has a owner rental program call "getaways", which they rent units at great to OK prices. You'll find lots of rentals available during the off season times of year. So you'll find lots a units in Palm Springs and AZ in the summer and lots of availablity in Hilton Head or Cape Cod in the winter.

II also has a couple of web site where rentals are offered to the general public but I'm having a problem find those sites. Anyone?

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.
