All I can say is that I really need to get my act together when it comes to National Parks. I'm embarrassed to say that I have only been to one of them....The Grand Canyon.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

Very interesting report. All I can say is that I highly recommend Yosemite National Park in CA especially in the spring when the waterfalls are full. It is our favorite park but we haven't seen over half of the country yet so I cannot judge. Angela, you need to see some of these National Parks as you will appreciate them being an artist.

The Grand Canyon too is spectacular and made us speechless when we saw it for the very first time. It was more impressive to us from the overview next to the road than from the air with a small little plane which flew very low in the canyon which is no longer allowed.

Personally, I like every National Park because each one is so different and they are very special for that part of the country. I am so thankful that we have these treasures and that they will stay around for the next generation too.

I've only been to 5 of these 10.
                    Grand Canyon National Park
                    Yosemite National Park
                    Yellowstone National Park
                    Rocky Mountain National Park
                    Acadia National Park

I was a little supprised that Glacier NP is not on the top 10 list. It is one of my favorites. Maybe it's because 85% of that park can only be seen by hiking.
Anyway, there are some great places to see in this country.

I am also a little surprised about Glacier not being in the top 10! Not to seem dense, but where are cuyahoga valley (don't think i've heard of this, maybe on the travel channel) and acadia NP's. Please forgive me for not knowing where these are, I've led a sheltered life

Must have been our year for national parks because we saw three this year (one was not on the list). We saw the Grand Canyon, Mesa Verde National Park (100th year celebration of the opening of the park), and the Rocky Mountain National Park.

There were no surprises on the list for me except for Cuyahoga, #3. I had never heard of it before.
