I was mid-level elite at DL for quite a few years, and still use the elite line since they never sent me a card for being just a regular skymiles member. I comped over to mid-level elite status at NW a few years ago. While there are some advantages at NW, the helpfulness of their elite reservations line is not in the same league as DL. I recently was looking for 3 ff tickets to Europe, and NW found nothing. They told me at one point ''thats all the options we are going to look at''. I then called DL, and they found the three seats I needed, and they were on AF, a partner of both NW and DL. I wonder why NW was not able to find the same seats.
