Q: Washington DC - Virginia

We drove thur Washington today on our way towards
Northern Virginia and as well passed the Pentagon on
our right we seen a Silver Monument. It looks like 3
silver spears and people where standing by it having
there pictures taken with the Pentagon in the background

Does anyone know what this is called
and how long it has been there

The Air Farce never had a monument of their own, now they do, it was dedicated last month. Air Force Memorial.
