  • What airports are near Disney CA?

I know LAX is but I want to check other airports that might be near by. Is Burbank near?

Closest is John Wayne (SNA). Burbank isn't all that close, Ontario would be another one to check. If you can avoid LAX, do so.

Are you planning to do the mouse?

Yes, John Wayne is definitely the closest. I live in Orange County but have flown out of Ontario because sometimes the airfare is considerably cheaper and it's not that much farther. The only thing is putting up with the traffic if you're not used to it.

I am staying at Dolphins Cove, Is Ontario close to that resort. What is the airport code for it? I will look at SNA also. Are these airports way out of the way?

Ontario is ONT. Ontario is 36 miles from Disneyland. John Wayne (SNA) is closer at 13 miles. Personally, I would fly into SNA.

Thank you I will check both out. I know Jet Blue flys into Burbank but that is not close. SNA might be a good option.

If you are thinking Jet Blue, look at Long Beach (LGB). Long Beach is 18 miles from Disneyland. Burbank is 40 miles.

I've never flown into Long Beach so I didn't think of that one right away.

Luanne is right. Long beach is a just few miles farther than John Wayne but it is so small that you can get in and out very, very fast. Both airports take almost exactly the same time to drive to disney.

We can fly to any of the LA airports and Long beach is our new 1st choice.

I would fly to Long Beach (LGB) first....easy airport and close to Disneyland...you don't even need to get on the freeway to get there...the road directly out of the airport (Wardlow which turns into Ball Road in Orange County) will get you close to Dolphin's Cove.

A close second or equal would be John Wayne Orange County Santa Ana....(SNA).....also convenient and close...the airport is bigger and a bit more hassle than LGB....usually the airfares are much pricier.

San Diego, LAX, or ONT - Ontario would be my third choice.

I do not fly into or out of ONT because of the 91 freeway bottleneck between Orange County and Riverside County is always bad.

Traffic to and from San Diego is getting worse.

I use LAX when I have too with a family of four the savings in airfare and non-stop flights is more of an incentive and worth the traffic.

I would not fly into or out of Burbank.....the traffic between Burbank and Orange County is absolutely horrible at most times of the day.

Looking forward to having you here BF. We just renewed our Disneyland/DCA annual passes.

Well I think I got a good deal with Delta. The price droped and I grabed it$359 total PP from LGA to Lax, I did not want to fly into Lax, I had a good deal going into SNA but when I went to book it. I got the measage that the seats were no longer available.

Of coarse 1 hour after I book it, I get a lower fare with better times flying in and out of San Diego.

We are flying into LAX during Christmas break. Frank, be careful with Delta, as they change the flights constantly!! (We were on a noon flight on the 23rd and they completely eliminated it just last week, and put us all on an 8:30 a.m.)

But, if you're going to Disney you really don't want to be flying in and out of San Diego.

I kind of threw in the towel yesterday since I had a bad day and just gave up. I know the best nights to book normaly are Wednesday nights.

Thank's I will keep an eye out. If they change it normaly works out better for me. In this case it has to be better since I got the worst times. Now since I booked this my cousin just booked the same flights asme so we might both be getting bumped.

Yes I know but I have a lot of family in SD. I would have been able to spend a day with them.
