  • Overnight Stay Near SeaTac

We are flying out to Seattle on Jan 26h and arrive about 22:30. Looking for recommendations for a one night stay near the airport before the 100 mile drive out to Sequim in the morning.

Looking for a two bedroom, may have to settle for a one bedroom. Don't see anything in the RCI nightly stay section.

You won't find any TS anywhere near SeaTac.

I suggest using Priceline or Hotwire to obtain 2 rooms. Only bid 2.5* or higher on PL; only accept 3* or higher on Hotwire.

If you are not familiar with using PL or HW, go to www.biddingfortravel.com and www.betterbidding.com to learn how to use those sites and to get some guidance as to what hotels you might get.

      Marriott

We stayed at some sort of Marriott Suites twice this summer for 1 night each time. The first stay we had a 2 bedroom, the next time it was a studio. Motel had airport transportation. When I went to Marriott to search, there were several different type suite hotel choices and I just picked one.

There were no restaurants within walking distance, but several nearby.

        Priceline was great!

I love Priceline. We needed a one night stay in Seattle 4 years ago as we were driving to Vancouver B.C. to catch an Alaskan cruise. I won a 4 star Rennisence Hotel room for $50 for the night. It was beautiful! You need to allow time to re-bid if you don't go high enough. I was caught with a one star place in Victoria B.C. that was clean, just no air on a warm evening at a motel type complex. We've stayed at Hyatt hotels for a night or Marriott hotels, each for the $50/night. Almost embarrasing. My sister got 2 rooms at a Sheraton for $40/each in Souther California. Give it a shot! garyd210

There are strategies to rebid at Priceline without having to wait; they are most available when bidding for higher quality properties.

Follow the link to www.biddingfortravel.com that I provided above to learn how to do it.
