  • Your Favorite Atlantic City Casino? More?

We spent some time at the Borgata the last time my wife and I visited AC for a quick two day getaway. Loved the place. We ventured to a couple of casino's on the boardwalk and it was a waste of time - I don't even remember their names. Are there other casinos in AC that are as beautifully decorated as the Borgata?

We are staying elsewhere (Marriott Seaview) so the rooms are not important. We are mostly interested in decent restaurants, maybe a good lounge singers, and beautiful surroundings. We stayed at Harrahs during our last visit and found it OK but not spectacular. I also remember visiting the Trump Marina and found it less appealing than Harrahs. We are definetly returning to Borgatas, but may want a change of venue or two during the visit.

    I welcome your suggestions.

    Thanks
    Charles

We stayed at the Fairfield in AC last year. The resort was great, but the rest of AC...ugggghhh.

The only thing I really liked was seeing Lucy, the Margate Elephant, a famous old landmark that I've wanted to visit for about 20 years! Very fun.

Tropicana has some nice restaurants and shops but not as classy as Borgata. I think they also have an Imax theater.

The Borgata is definitely one of the nicer casino's. However, I think that you should check out the Tropicana, and the Quarter........

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

If you want a change of venue during your visit, you might want to check out The Pier at Caesars. Besides the upscale shopping, there are some good restaurants including Stephen Starr’s Buddakan and the Continental Restaurant & Martini Bar, plus a nice Irish Pub and a good sports bar.
