Not sure when you return, but US Air has non-stop both ways 5/6-13 for $462. IMHO, the extra $ is worth no layover. (I was checking with Orbitz)

Frontier Airlines has a Mexico sale, 12 US cities methinks. Check their website before you buy anything else. I recall that travel with Frontier has to be completed by June 7, so that would fit your schedule. Hope they depart from a city near you!

I booked Frontier from St. Louis to Cancun over the weekend for Jan. 2008. However, they don't show anything from CLT to CUN.

IMO, the non-stop is worth the extra money. DL has cheaper flights (about 350 all-in) but they cx in ATL and the timings suck. Will it go down? Short of a spot sale, I doubt it.

The non-stop on the way back was taken or the price had gone up but I did take the rate. shaggy
