Originally posted by LuanneOther than Priceline I don't use any other pre-paid car reservations. My only other experience has been directly with the rental company. I thought the question was how did Priceline handle it if your flight was delayed or cancelled. I still think if you arrive a little late, no problem. If you come in earlier, or return the car later than specified, you might have an issue. Do you know how the other pre-paids handle this? I don't.“Maybe you shouldn't dress like that.”
“This is a blouse and skirt. I don't know what you're talking about.”
“You shouldn't wear that body.”

If anything, because it's prepaid you should have more assurance of having a car available if your flight is delayed.Luanne

I have a corporate discount and usually find the best rates that way. I decided to play around with Priceline today. My bid of $18/day for a full-size was accepted for a total of $118.00. It is with Avis and beats the corporate rate I had of $243.00. I'm saving $115.00!!!

Originally posted by Reggie_HammondsI've learned when it comes to car rentals, ALWAYS sign up for their free membership services. I recently went to San Diego and signed up for the Dollar Membership. I got to the rental car place and bypassed 10 people waiting in the standard line because of my membership. They weren't happy..... I was. Out in 10 minutes while it took them at least 30 more after I left.Luanne
