    Hi there!

Anyone traveled to Cabo, and where did you stay? The beaches look ok, nice for walking though. Let me know what your experiences were and if it is worth going there, or maybe Puerto Vallarta might be a better choice???

    Thanks!

I have visited Cabo and P.V. I like Cabo better than P.V. Cabo has undergone a lot of development over the last several years and is home to a lot of nice restaurants.

Our feelings are the exact opposite. We would take PV over Cabo without a moment's hesitation.

“This is a blouse and skirt. I don't know what you're talking about.”

      “You shouldn't wear that body.”

We've been to Cabo...a number of years ago, though. We stayed in the old section of the Finnestera (they were not done with the new addition) and it's location was great. You could walk the beach there and not be bothered by any vendors, but you could not swim there...rip tide was too strong. The second time we went with friends and stayed at the Melia Real Cabo (or something like that) out on the corridor. You would have to have a car or ride the bus to get into Cabo. The beach was great and could swim there. As for the resort...our unit was 3 hotel rooms put together, and the restaurants were quite expensive. I'm sure there there are much better ones than this one. Also I felt (JMHO) that Cabo was VERY Americanized. I would not go back, unless it was for fishing.

I like Cabo over P V. it might be because I am more familiar with Cabo been there 4 times PV once.

I like Puerto Vallarta better it is more tropical. My wife likes Cabo better it is beach booze and restaurants. We have described it as Barstow by the Sea. Both are better if you are on vacation.

Hi, just want to say hello. Have no idea about that area, but notice you just bought from developer at AZ. If this is the area you like, maybe you want to check your contract to see how many days you have to rescind the contracts, and ask around to find a company that can allow you get to the resorts in this area you like.

By the way, II does not gurantee top notch resorts. It just has several hotel chains that it promises to protect/satisfy their needs and these chains are generally provide enough top notch resorts.

              Welcome to this forums

I have been to Cabo San Lucas, La Paz, PV, NV, Mazatlan, Cancun, etc. Personally, I rank Cabo down at the bottom just below Mazatlan.

We own at Villa del Palmar in PV and Cabo. We usually rotate every year. It just depends what you like to do. There is definetly more to do in PV and nicer landscape. Cabo is more relaxed and desert like.

                    We love Pueblo BSunset

We stayed at hacienda del mar and liked it. Then we toured Pueblo Bonito sunset and stayed there and loved it! It is carved into a hillside and every room has ocean view.

We stayed at the Finisterra both time we went and loved it - We don't swim in the ocean anyway and the pools were wonderful to be in and look at the ocean. The view from the room was spectacular, as well. I have pictures of our second trip on my picturetrail site. Click on the URL below
