Where's everyone going for the 4th?

My lead in...

I'm heading to Arkansas! Almost everyone i know says,"Arkansas, what are you going to do there?". Well, I'll be hacking it up on the greens...(my handicap is how many balls i lose) playing on Greers Lake. Off to the caverns...Playing Roy Rogers at the stables. A trip over ( or back ) to Little rock and an overnight in Memphis to visit the king and hang out on Beale street.

I'll be staying at Wyndham Arkansas Bay.

In the evening we'll be joining 1/2 million people to see the fireworks in Boston! The most fantastic display I've ever seen.

We'll be home as well. Having friends over to join us for dinner and then watch the fireworks put on by the city.

We are heading back to VA in the morning after the ordeal of being with loved ones and seeing life slip away from BIL.

Caroll's sister and mother will be heading to our place after spreading ashes on Lake Michigan, so we have arrangements to make at home.

We will celebrate our independence with a family get-to-gather. Life must go on, ya know.

We will be spending the 4th in Missouri at home. We are meeting daughter number 1 (from TN) in St. Louis on the 2th. and taking the two grandsons and son-in-law to see the Cardinals play AZ Diamondbacks.

My wife makes the social arrangemnts.

I think we will be at a pool party same as we have for the past 12? yrs.

Now they do July 4th and we do Thanks Giving. Earlier we did July 4th complete with backyard fireworks. Seems to be working.

Happy 4th everyone!!

Will be home. Not planning to drive that day, if possible... 'cept to go to my brother's place for the pool party. Since they are the only ones with a pool, so we show up every year at their place.

In the evening, walk over to Central Park and hang out with the rest of the folk from our "All America City" to watch the fireworks. The city pays for it, and accepts donations from its residents.

Were going to spend a relaxing day at the beach in Ocean Shores, Wa. A small beach town about 40 miles away from our house. They are having a small festival.

July 4th plans

We are leaving for Christmas Mountain Village in Wisconsin Dells, WI tomorrow.
So, we will be spending the 4th there.
I wonder if the resort has anything special going on, on the 4th, anybody know for sure?
I think if I remember correctly they frown on fireworks because of the dryness of the grass this time of yr.
I know there are fireworks and festivities that transpire in the Dells area on the 4th as we've been there for them in the past. (Was way crowded and traffic was really bad.)

We'll be going to Atlanta Ga, and Fort Benning, to spend the 4th with our son.

We'll be up in Woodstock, then home to Brooklyn on Thursday to pack and leave for MONTANA on Friday! One week in Seeley Lake and a week at Meadow Lake at Glacier NP.
