Interstate Bridge Falls Into Mississippi

MINNEAPOLIS (Aug. 1) - The entire span of an interstate bridge collapsed into the Mississippi River during evening rush hour Wednesday, sending vehicles, tons of concrete and twisted metal crashing into the water.

Unbelievable Bridge

I cannot believe it. My prayers are with those on the bridge and their friends and family.

I have been watching this on tv for last hour or so. How does this happen? Are our bridges safe?

What a horrible tragedy. Last I heard there were 4 confirmed dead but up to 30 missing. They are looking at license plates to try to trace some of the victims.
